Yesterday, a report was received on line 102 about the theft of a Volkswagen Caddy that had been left near a house on Mykhailo Starytsky Street.

After receiving the alert, the police began searching for the stolen vehicle.
Soon, the car was found on Prince Volodymyr Street, where it was being driven by a 38-year-old man.
The patrol officers detained the driver and noticed signs of drug intoxication during their conversation. The man refused to undergo a medical examination.
It was also revealed that he was deprived of the right to operate vehicles.
Administrative materials were drawn up against the driver: under part 3 of article 130 (driving under the influence for the third time within a year or refusal to undergo examination) and part 5 of article 126 (the driver is deprived of the right to drive) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
A investigative operational group was called to the scene for further investigation.
