A tragic car accident occurred in Rivne District yesterday, September 20, around 8:00 PM on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the village of Antopil. The driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, a 55-year-old local resident, struck a 60-year-old man who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.

The investigative authorities have already begun an investigation into the incident. The driver of the vehicle called the police and an ambulance to the scene, but despite the efforts of the medical personnel and the resuscitation measures taken, the victim died at the scene.
