Medical personnel informed rescuers about the hospitalization of family members to the Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital. The incident occurred in one of the apartments on Stepan Vasylenko Street.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the poisoning was a faulty gas appliance that contributed to the accumulation of dangerous carbon monoxide.
As a result of this poisoning, three individuals were affected:
- A minor child, born in 2022 — in moderate condition;
- A woman, born in 1996 — in moderate condition;
- A man, born in 1994 — in mild condition.
All affected individuals are currently under medical supervision. Specialists are working to determine the final causes of the technical malfunction of the gas equipment.
