In 2021, two men constructed a multi-apartment residential building in Rivne; however, contrary to legislative norms, they did not pay the funds for the participation in the development of the city’s infrastructure.

The local government authorities did not take the necessary measures to recover these funds through the court, which could have led to a significant amount not being received in the local budget.
In order to protect the interests of the community, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit. The Rivne City Court fully satisfied this lawsuit.
As a result, over 400,000 hryvnias will be recovered for the community’s budget, which can be used to improve local infrastructure.
