Oleg Androshchuk was born in the village of Pivche, where he received his secondary education. After finishing school, he chose a profession as a mechanic and worked in the field of entrepreneurship. With the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia, he went to the military enlistment office on the second day. Oleg fought in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. For his service, he was awarded the badge “Veteran of War – Combatant.” In April 2024, Oleg was sent to Donetsk along with his comrades, where they faced heavy fighting. Unfortunately, the family received news of his disappearance. For over a year, they hoped for the best, but a DNA test confirmed that Oleg had died on April 22, 2024. He was only 49 years old.
Ruslan Dunych, born on December 13, 1978, in the village of Vysotsk in the Sarny district, completed his full secondary education in 1996 and attended a driving school in the city of Dubrovytsia. He served in the military from 1997 to 1998. Since 2002, Ruslan worked at the Vysotsk Fire Department as a guard-driver of a fire truck. On October 1, 2023, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During his service, Ruslan distinguished himself with bravery and responsibility, earning him an award from the brigade commander. Unfortunately, on May 13, 2025, during combat operations in the Kupiansk direction, he sustained a severe head injury. From July 30, 2025, Ruslan fought for his life, but on October 9, 2025, his heart stopped forever. He is survived by a younger sister and two nephews.
