Rivne Region: Medical Facilities Transitioned to Increased Readiness Mode

Due to the worsening weather conditions and falling temperatures, all medical facilities in the Rivne region have been transitioned to an increased readiness mode. In order to organize an effective response to potential emergencies, a meeting was held with medical staff.

There is ongoing communication with the regional leadership, and in case of crisis situations, additional services and high-passability vehicles are ready to be deployed.

A number of important decisions were made at the meeting:

  1. Monitor the temperature regime in hospitals;
  2. Ensure control over fuel supplies and adhere to generator operation requirements;
  3. Guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the emergency medical service;
  4. Limit the transportation of critically ill patients over long distances;
  5. Increase the number of telemedicine consultations in primary healthcare facilities;
  6. Enhance the number of consultations from the dispatch service 103;
  7. In hospitals with inpatient care, prepare beds and ensure the availability of medical teams on duty.
