The Rivne region is home to the Ostroh, Rivne, Myrohoshchanska psychoneurological boarding schools, and the Zdolbuniv geriatric boarding house.

Since the beginning of the year, these institutions have accepted over 900 internally displaced persons (IDPs) who were evacuated from areas of active combat. Currently, 510 people are residing there, receiving four meals a day, nursing care, and other necessary services.
The Ostroh psychoneurological boarding school has become the largest shelter for forced migrants. To improve living conditions, the institution has expanded its capacity by renting additional buildings from the Ostroh Regional Psychiatric Hospital and premises from a local educational institution.
Overall, there are currently over 42,000 internally displaced persons registered in the region.
