The incident occurred on September 19 at around 14:20 at the bus station in Mlyniv.

Law enforcement officials determined that a 24-year-old man from Dubno, who was working in construction, left his bag with personal belongings nearby to avoid it being in the way. Soon after, he noticed that the bag was missing and immediately contacted the police.
Criminal investigation officers identified the suspect within two hours. He turned out to be a 70-year-old pensioner from the village of Puhachivka, who had previously come to the attention of law enforcement for similar crimes.
The pensioner voluntarily returned the stolen bag to the authorities; however, the money from it had already been spent on his personal needs.
Currently, the investigator is conducting a pre-trial investigation.
