From January to September 2025, the budgets of territorial communities in the Rivne region received 2.8 million hryvnias from the transport tax.

This figure exceeds the revenue for the same period last year by 25%, when the amount of tax paid was 2.2 million hryvnias.
The funds received from the transport tax are directed to local budgets and are used for community development, including road repairs, landscaping, and infrastructure improvement.
It is worth noting that the transport tax is paid by owners of passenger cars that were manufactured no more than five years ago, and whose average market value exceeds 375 times the minimum wage established on January 1 of the tax year.
In 2025, this threshold is 3,000,000 hryvnias.
