Yevheniy Movchun, originally from the Zarichne community, was born on January 19, 1985. He served as a sapper in the engineering-sapper unit and died on January 7, 2026, in a Kyiv hospital after sustaining serious injuries while performing a combat mission.

Petro Dyachok, who lived in Sarny, took up arms to defend his homeland in July 2022. As a machine gunner in the airborne assault platoon of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, he was killed on February 21, 2024, in the Donetsk region, bearing the call sign “Gryphon.”

Oleksandr Hrytsyuk, born in 1974 and residing in Mlyniv, was a border service inspector. He died on January 7, 2026, in the Chernihiv direction, bravely defending Ukraine from the occupiers.

Serhiy Svershchuk, born on September 23, 1978, in Kostopol, served his mandatory military service and, after signing a contract in 2014, served until 2020. With the onset of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he once again took up arms to defend the country. He was killed on August 9, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv region.

Mykola Selepyna, born in 1982, lived in the village of Klevan. He went to the front after the start of the full-scale aggression by the Russian Federation. On July 19, 2025, he lost contact, and since then he has been considered missing in action; this date became his day of death.
