The community of Zdolbuniv held a farewell for the fallen soldier Dmytro Bruy, who gave his life for Ukraine.

Dmytro was born in the village of Bohdashiv, where he grew up with his brothers. After finishing nine years of school at Zdolbuniv Secondary School No. 6, he enrolled in Kvasyliv Professional Lyceum, earning a qualification as a “mason-tiler-plasterer.” After his studies, he worked at the Kvasyliv Foundry and Mechanical Plant. Dmytro was known for his cheerful character, kindness, and hard work, always helping his mother with household chores.
He enlisted in military service in August 2023, carrying out combat missions as part of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade in the Zaporizhzhia direction, where he served as a grenade launcher.
On October 20, 2023, Dmytro went on a mission and did not return. In November, the family received alarming news about his disappearance. For over two years, his relatives hoped for a miracle, but eventually received confirmation of the soldier’s death.
Dmytro Bruy, devoted to his military oath, fell on the battlefield on October 20, 2023, in the Zaporizhzhia region. He was only 27 years old.
