Igor Strilets from Sarny and Pavlo Babiychuk from Dubno became heroes who were laid to rest.

Igor Strilets, born in 1973, lived his entire life in the village of Rokytne. He was a military medic, saving the lives of others even during shelling. A volunteer who defended Ukraine for over five years, he is remembered by his loved ones as the best son, a loving father, a reliable friend, and a comrade. His life was cut short while receiving treatment at the Rivne Regional Hospital for War Veterans. The farewell took place in his native village.
Pavlo Babiychuk, born on August 3, 1997, lived in the village of Ozeriany in the Varkovytsia community. He took up arms to defend his homeland from the very first days of the full-scale invasion, gaining combat experience and respect among his comrades for his reliability and fearlessness. Unfortunately, on September 13, 2025, the heart of this brave warrior stopped beating. He was only 28 years old and had just begun his life. Pavlo found eternal rest in his native village of Ozeriany.
