A farewell ceremony took place in the Rivne region for three soldiers who had long been considered missing in action.

Volodymyr Tsytsyura, a native of Sarny, was born on June 17, 1978. He lived in the city of Sarny and took up arms to defend Ukraine in July 2024, joining the ranks of the 41st Separate Mechanized Brigade. On September 14, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in the Kursk region, the serviceman went missing. It was only on May 4, 2026, that DNA testing confirmed he had died on that day.
Volodymyr Yukhnevych, born on June 29, 1986, lived in the village of Loknytsia. He was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 25, 2024, and served in military unit A4699. He died on September 24, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the Kursk region, having been considered missing in action for a long time. His death was confirmed only after DNA testing.
Pavlo Prokopyuk, born on March 13, 1986, lived in the city of Dubno. In October 2023, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving in the 68th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. He was considered missing in action for over two years, and his death was confirmed after completing a combat mission in Donetsk on April 2, 2024.
