Oleg Tereshchuk, born on May 11, 1990, in the village of Steblivka in the Rivne region, studied at the Mizotska school and trained as a car mechanic in Zdolbuniv.
After completing his mandatory military service, he worked as a security chief in Kyiv, and later moved to Rivne, where he held the position of a packer in household chemicals and grocery warehouses.
With the onset of the full-scale invasion, Oleg applied to the city territorial recruitment center twice but was instructed to wait. It was only in September 2025 that he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Since childhood, Oleg was passionate about football. He played for Mizotska teams at the district and regional levels until he was 30, when an injury forced him to end his playing career. Oleg was kind, caring, and always ready to help; he loved his family very much,” recalls the Defender’s wife.
Unfortunately, 35-year-old Senior Soldier Oleg Tereshchuk was killed on December 19, 2025, as a result of an enemy drone strike in the Donetsk region.
Oleg is survived by his wife, son, mother, and two sisters.
The farewell to Oleg Tereshchuk will take place on Tuesday, December 30, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. The soldier’s burial will be at the cemetery in the village of Steblivka in the Rivne region.
