A 40-year-old resident of the Luhansk region received a prison sentence thanks to the efforts of the Security Service of Ukraine. The woman accepted an offer from representatives of the occupying authorities and participated in the illegal referendum on the annexation of the “LPR” to the Russian Federation in September 2022.

According to the case materials, the accused, who held the position of “deputy head of the district electoral commission” in the village of Sofiivka, Luhansk region, managed electoral documentation, issued ballots, and formed voter lists.
In addition, the traitor actively called on local residents to participate in the pseudo-elections and was an active contributor to pro-Russian propaganda Telegram channels.
For her activities, she received multiple awards from the occupying authorities.
As a result of the case review, under the procedural guidance of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the woman was found guilty of:
- Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (participation of a citizen of Ukraine in the organization and conduct of an illegal referendum in a temporarily occupied territory).
The court sentenced her to 10 years of imprisonment with an additional penalty of a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for up to 15 years, as well as the confiscation of property.
The traitor is currently hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
