Today, November 25, the court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest for a 54-year-old woman suspected of causing a traffic accident.

The incident occurred on November 23 at around 1:00 PM on Bandera Street.
Investigators have determined that the driver of a “Renault Scenic,” a resident of Sarny, struck a 63-year-old woman who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
As a result of the accident, the pensioner sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized at the Sarny hospital, where, unfortunately, she passed away a few hours later.
The investigator detained the suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and informed her of the suspicion of committing a crime as stipulated in part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic safety rules resulting in the death of the victim).
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
