Yesterday, a special service took place at the Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Rivne, led by Metropolitan Epiphanius of the OCU along with the clergy. This event attracted the attention of many believers who gathered to pray together.
– The Lord’s Cross stands among us today not as a distant sanctuary, but as a living reality. It is in the graves of soldiers, where love rests. It is in the voice of a child asking about their father. It is in the ruined churches that still preserve icons. The Cross is our daily pain and at the same time our only chance for hope.
But where there is Golgotha, dawn is already being born. For the power of the Cross is not in the crucifixion, but in the Resurrection. And even when it seems that darkness has prevailed, we hear: “Death, where is your sting? Hell, where is your victory?” (1 Cor. 15:55).
