From January 7 to 11, a southern cyclone is expected to affect the Rivne region, leading to worsening weather. Significant snowfall is anticipated in the first two days, followed by light to moderate snow from January 9 to 11.
Blizzards, ice, and snowdrifts may occur on the roads. Winds may strengthen to 15-20 m/s on January 8-9.
The snow cover is expected to increase by 10 to 20 cm from the current level. By the end of the week, nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 17-22 degrees, while daytime temperatures may reach 11-16 degrees.
These weather conditions correspond to Level I of danger (yellow), which may lead to disruptions in electricity supply, municipal services, the construction industry, and transportation on the roads.
