Soldier Serhiy Osypchuk, a resident of the village of Zhobryn in the Klevan community, has been awarded the high title of Hero of Ukraine and the ‘Golden Star’ medal.

During combat operations in the Kursk region, he eliminated more than 15 invaders, engaging in direct firefights and forcing the enemy to retreat.
Despite sustaining a gunshot wound, Osypchuk refused to leave his position and continued to carry out his combat mission.
He defended his position continuously for 47 days.
