34-Year-Old Resident of Klesiv Arrested for Robbing a Local Wholesale Store

The incident occurred on the night of September 7. The perpetrator, taking advantage of the nighttime silence, damaged the blinds and entrance doors of the store, gaining entry inside. He stole 4000 hryvnias in cash and food products.
The theft was discovered in the morning when a 45-year-old store employee arrived for work and noticed signs of a break-in. She immediately reported it to the police.
Officers from the Sarna Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit quickly identified the suspect. Soon, the 34-year-old man was arrested on one of the streets of Klesiv.
Investigators informed the suspect of the charges against him for committing theft under martial law (Part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The man is currently in a temporary detention facility, and a decision is being made regarding the choice of a preventive measure.
