According to preliminary investigation data, an 18-year-old driver of a “Tekken” motorcycle did not take into account safe speed and distance, which led to a collision with a “Volkswagen” car driven by a 39-year-old local resident, as well as with a “Mitsubishi Canter” driven by a 56-year-old resident of Rivne.
After the collision, the motorcycle veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a “Fiat” car, the driver of which was a 79-year-old resident of the regional center.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist with polytrauma was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
The investigator has initiated a pre-trial investigation regarding the violation of traffic safety rules.
