The youth team of the people’s club Veres achieved an emotional home victory over Kovalevsky Kolos, breaking their own three-match winless streak in the U19 National League championship.

After three consecutive matches without a victory in the U19 National League championship, the youth team of the people’s club aimed to return to winning ways in the match against Kolos.
At the beginning of the match, the players from Rivne managed to take the lead before halftime. Dmytro Matkivsky executed a corner from the right side, Dmytro Murashko distracted the defenders at the near post, and Teymur Khalilov opened the scoring with a header.
And at the start of the second half, Dmytro Matkivsky scored his fifth goal of the season. He intercepted a poor pass from the Kolos goalkeeper and, from outside the penalty area, punished the opponent for the mistake with a precise curling shot – 2:0!
