In the match against the championship outsider, the red-and-black team quickly took the lead thanks to an own goal by Andriy Shkraba, who attempted to clear the threat but ended up scoring in his own net after a failed pass from Ustym Pitula.
The match was interrupted due to an air raid alert caused by the Russian attack on Rivne, which damaged the field at the club’s training base. After a pause of over five hours, the teams resumed play at the Impulse Stadium.
The second goal for Rivne came right at the start of the second half: Yevheniy Malyuta intercepted the ball and passed it to Stanislav Mihutsky, who found the net after a deflection.
The third goal resulted from a combination between David Niyo and Dmytro Matkivsky: Niyo made an accurate pass, and Matkivsky outplayed the defender and shot past the goalkeeper.
The match was concluded by Dmytro Murashko, who converted a penalty, marking his thirteenth goal of the season.
This victory allowed Veres U19 to rise to fourth place in the league table, albeit only until the next matchday.
