An accident occurred on the highway near the village of Satiiv in the Dubno district, involving two vehicles.

The police, who arrived at the scene, determined that a 55-year-old driver of a MAN truck failed to maintain a safe distance, resulting in a collision with a Mercedes-Benz vehicle that was traveling ahead.
Both vehicles sustained significant mechanical damage; however, fortunately, neither the drivers nor the passengers were injured.
During communication with the MAN driver, the patrol officers noticed signs of alcohol intoxication. Despite this, he refused to undergo a sobriety test both at the scene and at the medical facility.
Several administrative protocols were drawn up against the driver:
- under Article 124 (Violation of traffic rules resulting in an accident) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses;
- under part 1 of Article 130 (Driving under the influence or refusal to undergo a sobriety test) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
