Trofimchuk has been appointed acting head of the Rivne Regional Youth Plast Training Center, succeeding Oksana Sklyar, who recommended him for this position.

Andriy hails from Zdovbytsia. At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, at just 20 years old, he took up arms to defend Ukraine, serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Initially, he was a shooter in the 204th Battalion of the 241st Territorial Defense Brigade in Kyiv, and later held the position of senior combat medic in the 251st Battalion of the same brigade, participating in battles in the Bakhmut direction from 2022 to 2024.

For many years, Andriy has been actively engaged in national-patriotic education for youth in Plast. His activities include leading several groups such as “Griffins,” “Bisons,” and “Black Wolves,” as well as organizing numerous camps and first aid training sessions called “Act,” and teaching tactical medicine at a military lyceum in Ostroh.
