This Friday, December 19, the Rivne Regional Philharmonic invites all art lovers to a unique event — “The Christmas Salon of Prince Kazimir Lubomirski.”

This event is part of the II International Festival “Scrooge Fest,” which is taking place in Rivne. The evening will be welcomed by a string quartet, while soloists from the Rivne Regional Philharmonic will perform works from the European repertoire of the 19th century, ranging from elegant salon lyricism to popular Christmas compositions that resonated in noble homes.
Throughout the evening, the audience will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Prince Kazimir Lubomirski’s salon, with images of composers, poets, singers, and musicians coming to life in their imagination.
Additionally, during the event, there will be a discussion about the festive cuisine of the princely household, culinary traditions, and the symbolism of the oplatki sharing ritual — an ancient gesture of peace, unity, and familial warmth.
