Law enforcement officials have detained a suspect who is currently in custody.

Recently, around 09:00, in the village of Barmaky, the commander of the rifle battalion, Ivan Kotyash, along with colleagues, noticed a man acting suspiciously.
Law enforcement stopped a 41-year-old resident of the village of Kolodenka for a superficial check, during which they discovered a sawed-off shotgun and 12 rounds of 12 mm ammunition under his jacket.
During a sanctioned search of the suspect’s home, specialists from the police explosives unit found and seized an AK-47, three grenades, a device for firing rubber bullets “Fort-12” with two magazines, 293 rounds of various calibers, two bayonets, a hand grenade “DM-51,” and a fuse for it.
The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigator informed him of the suspicion of committing a crime under part one of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, military supplies, or explosives). All seized items will be sent for examination.
The court has chosen a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention for 60 days with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 256,720 hryvnias, which he has not yet paid.
