A bakery in Rivne region bakes 60 tons of products daily.

The company “Khlobodаr” began producing its goods on October 16, 2003. This date later became symbolic, as it coincides with World Bread Day celebrated worldwide.
Alexander Kokan, Deputy Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, familiarized himself with the operations of one of the leading bakeries in the region, operating under the brand “Rumyanyets”.
Over more than two decades, the company’s production has increased twelvefold, from 5 tons per day to 60 tons today. The assortment includes over a hundred types of bakery and confectionery products, which are supplied to more than 2000 retail outlets in Rivne region and ten other regions of Ukraine.
“Thanks to modern cold freezing technologies, the company has also entered foreign markets. Bakery products from Rivne region are exported to Italy, Spain, Turkey, Germany, and the USA. The poppy roll is particularly popular among foreign consumers,” said the company’s manager Mykola Zahryvyi.
The company employs over 500 people who produce high-quality products daily. Among the company’s strategic plans are expanding capacities, launching new production lines, and creating new types of baked goods.
“From 5 tons per day to exports to the USA and EU. It is gratifying to see how the bakery is developing. The company operates according to EU standards and implements energy-efficient solutions. Rivne region is proud of such companies. This is about quality, stability, and development,” noted Alexander Kokan.
