The “Cardinal Avangard” team secured its place in the semifinals of the Futsal Cup of Ukraine after a tense match against “Alliance”.

With a slight advantage after the first match, “Cardinal Avangard” attacked more actively from the very beginning of the return match. Already in the fourth minute, Mykhailo Volyniuk successfully intercepted the ball from Nazariy Yarmola and struck the opponents’ goal with a powerful shot.
At the start of the second half, the teams exchanged goals. First, Dmytro Skibchyk scored with a header after a corner taken by Yevhen Lanko. The response from “Alliance” came from Taras Kuz, who capitalized on a cross from Vitaliy Radevych, leveling the score at 1:2.
After that, “Cardinal Avangard” focused on defense, while “Alliance” tried to attack but failed to convert several chances. Only in the last minute of the game did Vitaliy Radevych equalize with a powerful shot, leading to a penalty shootout. In this decisive stage of the match, Dmytro Dyachenko showcased an incredible performance, saving three shots from six meters out.
