In the fifth minute of the match, the Ternopil team was left without their main goalkeeper: Viktor Kiblyar received a straight red card for handling the ball outside the penalty area. “Cardinal Avangard” quickly took advantage of this situation, executing a free kick, resulting in Mykhailo Volianyuk assisting Lyubomyr Parfenyuk, who opened the scoring – 1:0.
Continuing to pressure their opponent, the Ternopil team scored again thanks to the duo of Skibchik and Kozlyuk, with the latter scoring after a throw-in. The nominal guests did not take long to respond – Yuriy Kogut equalized the score. However, before the break, Mykhailo Volianyuk once again put “Cardinal Avangard” ahead, converting a pass from Anton Khmaruk.
In the second half, the players of “Cardinal Avangard” scored all four goals into the empty net of their opponents. Thus, with six goals scored and only one defeat, the team secured a final second place in the tournament.
