The pre-trial investigation concerning a 20-year-old resident of the Rivne district has been completed. He is suspected of illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, transportation, mailing, storage, and distribution of poisonous or potent substances.
The materials of the criminal proceedings have already been sent to court. During the investigation, it was established that mitigating circumstances include the defendant’s sincere remorse and his active assistance in solving the crime.
However, the presence of a criminal record is an aggravating circumstance. Recently, the court issued a verdict: 7 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for the young offender.
It should be noted that the verdict has not yet entered into legal force, so it can be appealed within 30 days.
