Sergiy Viktorovych Nalapko, born on May 21, 1981, was a resident of the village of Mali Sady in the Dubno district.

The defender fell while fulfilling his duty to protect the territorial integrity and state sovereignty of Ukraine near the settlement of Novoyehorivka in the Svatove district of Luhansk region on April 30, 2025.
During his service in the army, he sustained numerous injuries and was awarded. Sergiy had been considered missing since April 2025.
According to preliminary information, the body of the fallen Hero will be brought back to his native home “on a shield” on Monday, December 8.
