Freestyler from Ukraine Dmytro Kotovskyi has won a gold medal at the World Cup stage in ski acrobatics held in Lac-Beauport, Canada.

The World Cup season has started successfully for Ukraine – Oleksandr Okipniuk has already secured gold, and at the second stage, Dmytro Kotovskyi finished in fourth place at the competition in Zhangjiakou, just missing out on a medal.
At the stage in Lac-Beauport, Kotovskyi managed to reach the finals, becoming one of the two Ukrainian athletes to make it into the top 12, alongside Angelyna Brykina. He achieved the best result in the qualification round, allowing him to continue competing.
In the final, Kotovskyi claimed third place, which gave him the opportunity to compete in the super final. There, he executed his signature jump “Hurricane,” landing it successfully and scoring 131.56 points.
