The DNA test results have confirmed the death of Oleksiy Oleksiyovych Kotsyubailo, a resident of the village of Mulchytsi. This serviceman had been considered missing for over a year.
Oleksiy Kotsyubailo, a 43-year-old gunner of the 2nd mechanized section of the 5th mechanized platoon of the 2nd mechanized company of the 1st mechanized battalion of military unit A4447, was killed on December 22, 2024, during an assault by the enemy in the area of the settlement of Kurakhove in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
He was born and raised in the village of Mulchytsi and received his education at the local school. In September 2024, Oleksiy took up arms to defend the state.
