During the first authorized searches of his residence, a significant amount of weapons and ammunition was discovered and seized.
Additionally, as a result of further investigative actions, law enforcement found a vehicle belonging to the criminal. In the trunk, a Kalashnikov machine gun, an anti-tank grenade launcher, grenades with fuses, and nearly 500 rounds of various calibers were discovered.
The criminal has been notified of suspicion under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, military ammunition, or explosives).
The sanctions of this article provide for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 7 years.
Investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all circumstances of the illegal activity and to hold accountable other possible participants in this crime.
