Recently, a crew from the Road Safety Department stopped a Mercedes-Benz truck on the M-06 Kyiv–Chop highway for violating traffic rules.

During the document check, the 41-year-old driver presented a protocol for the technical condition of the vehicle, which showed signs of forgery.
A law enforcement investigative team was called to the scene, and the driver was issued a ruling under part 3 of Article 121 (Driving a vehicle subject to mandatory technical inspection but failing to undergo it in a timely manner) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
Investigators opened a criminal proceeding based on the signs of part 4 of Article 358 (Using a knowingly forged document) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
