The funds received will be directed towards supporting infrastructure, improving the amenities of towns and villages, as well as educational and medical programs that directly impact the quality of life for residents.
Property tax is paid by both legal entities and individuals. In particular, legal entities contributed 145.4 million hryvnias, while citizens paid 163.2 million hryvnias.
It is worth noting that property owners are required to pay tax if the area of their property exceeds the established norms: apartments – over 60 m²; houses – over 120 m²; total area – over 180 m² in cases where the taxpayer owns both an apartment and a house.
The tax rate is determined by the local council, but it cannot exceed 1.5% of the minimum wage for each square meter that exceeds the established norms.
