The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the initiative of the Rivne Regional Council and awarded the annual prize for educators to two teachers from the Rivne region. The nominations were selected by the teams of educational institutions and then approved by the deputies at the session of the regional council.

The first laureate is Olena Amelyanovych, the director of the Regional Scientific Lyceum in the village of Klevan. Her nomination was submitted when she was the head of the Klevan Sanatorium School of I-III degrees. Olena has been in her position since 2015, and the institution is actively developing by implementing STEM education and robotics. She has been teaching the Ukrainian language and literature since 1995.
The second laureate is Tetiana Dybač, the deputy director of the Sarny District Lyceum “Lider” and a teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature. She has been serving as deputy director since 2008 and has been at the educational institution since 2003. Tetiana has significant experience in professional projects and is an expert in teacher certification.
It is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine prize, awarded since 2006, aims to support the authority of educators in society and encourage others. The prize amounts to 60 living wages for able-bodied individuals, exceeding 180,000 UAH. This award serves as a significant incentive for educators. It is not awarded again.
This year, 46 Ukrainian educators received the prize.
