A committee meeting was held in Rivne to determine the laureates of the city’s Alexander Khrapachenko Youth Award in the field of theatrical arts.

As a result of the open voting, this year the award was given to two talented artists – Dmytro Pshechuk and Pavlo Labunin.
Dmytro Pshechuk is a drama artist at the Rivne Regional Academic Ukrainian Musical and Dramatic Theater.
“He stands out for his deep creative thinking, creativity, and high standards, especially for himself in work and life. His acting skills and the vividness of his stage characters have been repeatedly recognized by members of theater festival juries. In particular, at the ‘HOMO LUDENS – 2023’ festival in Mykolaiv, the play ‘Spider’ earned the actor victories in two categories: ‘Best Actor Duo’ and ‘Best Young Actor’,” they say about him.
Pavlo Labunin, a puppeteer at the Rivne Academic Regional Puppet Theater, has also received recognition for his work.
Throughout his career, he has established himself as a promising and talented actor and vocalist. Pavlo actively supports civic initiatives, participating in charity events and fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, both within the framework of theatrical activities and at the city level. His creative output includes about 25 roles and characters, which constitutes a significant part of the theater’s repertoire.
