In Rivne, at the ‘Equator’ shopping center, the patrol police recorded a case of dangerous driving. A 22-year-old driver of a BMW, while under the influence of alcohol, was performing drifting maneuvers in the parking lot.
When tested with a breathalyzer, his blood alcohol content was 0.69 promille, exceeding the permissible limit. The young offender was issued a protocol under Part 1 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. Additionally, he was sanctioned under Part 2 of Article 126 (Driving without a driver’s license) of the same Code.
The vehicle was towed to an impound lot, and the driver received appropriate fines for his actions.
