Court Confirms Entrepreneur’s Guilt in Case of Illegal Sale of Alcoholic Beverages and Cigarettes
– The court has imposed a penalty of 110,500 UAH, along with the destruction of the counterfeit alcohol and the transfer of the seized cigarettes for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, – reported the Rivne Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The accused, a 22-year-old resident of Rivne, attempted to establish a distribution network for counterfeit cigarettes and alcoholic beverages. He purchased these goods in Rivne and transported them to Dubno for further sale.
On two occasions, the police stopped his Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, seizing excise goods for which he had no permits.
In total, the accused attempted to transport over 3,000 packs of cigarettes of various brands and more than 400 liters of alcohol in Tetra Paks.
