Just a few minutes later, the city’s residents heard a sound resembling an explosion.
However, there is no need to worry – this loud sound was caused by the actions of our aviation. An aircraft, moving at supersonic speed, creates a shockwave that is accompanied by a loud rumble known as a sonic boom.
This phenomenon was the reason for the sound heard by the residents of Rivne.
