In Rivne, a Minor Driver Stopped a Car with His Drunk Father

On Saturday in Rivne, during the curfew, patrol police stopped a BMW car on Roman Shukhevych Street.

This is reported by Rivne24

Behind the wheel, the inspectors found a 17-year-old boy, while his father was in the passenger seat. Since the young man did not have the right to drive due to the absence of a driver’s license, a protocol was drawn up against him under part 2 of Article 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

Half an hour later, another patrol crew stopped the same car on the highway near Oleksandriya. The father, trying to avoid administrative responsibility, attempted to negotiate with the police by offering them money.

Despite repeated warnings about criminal liability for such actions, the man placed a 500-hryvnia bill in the patrol car. As a result, the patrol called investigators to the scene.

The inspectors drew up a protocol again for the minor driver under part 2 of Article 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and waited for acquaintances of the participants in the incident to take the car. The father, being in a state of intoxication, could not get behind the wheel.
