Today at 02:35, the emergency line “101” received a report of a fire in a residential building in the village of Selyshche, located on Molodizhna Street in the Sarny district.

Rescuers from the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit from the city of Sarny, as well as firefighters from the local fire brigade of Selyshche, promptly arrived at the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the roof and ceilings of the building, which is wooden and covered with metal sheeting, were on fire. The fire was extinguished in about two hours.
As a result of the fire, the roof and ceilings were destroyed, and the interior decoration of two rooms covering an area of about 60 square meters, household items, and the facade of the building were damaged.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. The cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are currently being determined. Two units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
