On May 2 at 14:18, the Rivne Emergency Service received a report of a fire in the village of Velyka Omelyana on Habyrlivska Street in the Rivne district. Firefighters from the 2nd State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Rivne were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the rescuers quickly deployed firefighting agents to extinguish the blaze. To enhance fire-fighting efforts, additional firefighters from the 1st State Fire and Rescue Unit were also involved.
