On January 16 at 01:45, the Rivne Rescue Service received a report of a fire in the village of Buhryn, Rivne district, on Hrushevskoho Street.

Rescuers from the 16th State Fire and Rescue Unit from the town of Hoshcha, as well as the local fire team from the village of Buhryn, were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the residential building was completely engulfed in flames. The rescuers began extinguishing the fire using firefighting substances and conducted a reconnaissance of the premises.
During the fire suppression, the body of a man born in 1966 was found in one of the rooms.
As a result of the fire, the roof and ceilings of the house were destroyed by flames, along with furniture and personal belongings over an area of approximately 80 square meters.
The causes of the fire and the extent of material damage are currently being investigated.
