A fraudster who deceived an elderly woman has been arrested in the Rivne region.

Today, a report was received on line 102 from a resident of Zvyagel in the Zhytomyr region, who stated that his mother had fallen victim to scammers.
Strangers approached the pensioner under the pretext of selling household appliances and convinced her to hand over her money. After that, they quickly got into a black car and disappeared in an unknown direction.
The patrol received a description and, after a while, spotted a vehicle matching the description in the village of Koryst, located in the Rivne region. The inspectors stopped the car, which was being driven by a 24-year-old foreigner.
The police secured the scene and called in an investigative team for further examination of the circumstances of the case.
