Yesterday, November 5, during a patrol, officers from the patrol police response sector discovered a group of young men engaged in illegal amber mining in a forest area near the village of Perebrody.

From the scene, the police seized an ATV, a makeshift water pump, and other tools used for the illegal activity.
The investigator opened a criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Article 240-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal amber mining). The individuals involved in this crime have already been identified, and investigative actions are ongoing.
