Rivne is preparing for the second international festival “Scrooge Fest.” The head of the Rivne Drama Theater, Volodymyr Petrov, announced that this year there will be an expansion of venues and an increase in the number of theater groups compared to last year.

The “Scrooge Fest” will take place at three main venues:
- adult performances – on the stage of the drama theater;
- children’s performances – at the puppet theater;
- musical events – in the organ hall.
Applications for participation have already been submitted by theaters from Volyn, Khmelnytskyi, Bukovina, Poltava, Odesa, and Kyiv. Negotiations are also ongoing with theater groups from abroad. Among the festival participants is the popular Rivne symphonic rock orchestra “Brevis.”
The festival will have a Christmas and New Year theme. “Scrooge Fest” was launched in December 2024 and is set to become a theatrical highlight of Rivne.
