Emergency responders from the State Emergency Service arrived promptly at the scene. Specialists detected elevated concentrations of chlorine vapors in the air, so they cordoned off the danger zone and restricted access to outsiders.
Two neighbors and the owner of the property, who were near the cylinder before the arrival of the rescuers, sought medical assistance. Fortunately, their condition was satisfactory, and they declined hospitalization.
Currently, discussions are ongoing regarding the disposal of the hazardous substance to prevent similar situations in the future.
